Sara has been working in the legal field since 2013, starting with her position as the Undergraduate Director of Student Legal Services at the University of Iowa while she was studying. She graduated in 2015 from the University of Iowa with degrees in Spanish and Ethics & Public Policy majors, minoring in Political Science, as well as receiving a Human Rights Certificate and graduating with Honors.
Sara is fluent in Spanish and has extensive experience in immigration, criminal, and civil law. She truly cares about helping to guide all clients successfully through their legal matters.
As the Office Manager, she oversees business operations. Her duties as a Legal Assistant include providing clients with her expertise in preparing and submitting filings and applications, as well as case management. In her spare time, she spends time with her children and loved ones, enjoys cooking and baking, and is working on her green thumb.
Macy graduated from Loras College with majors in Spanish and International Studies, and a minor in Business. She graduated from the Honors Program at Loras, working on the topic of Voter Registration and Education, and she partnered with the Dubuque Chapter of the League of Women Voters.
While studying for her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she gained a comprehensive knowledge of the Spanish language. During her time in Argentina, she immersed herself in the culture, volunteered with children and helped to feed the homeless.
Macy is fluent in Spanish and is a Receptionist/Legal Assistant. She utilizes her Spanish to help people through legal processes. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, piano, painting, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog Bella.
